Aaron Johnson is an award-winning identity design specialist, creator of over 150 clear and enduring trademarks for businesses worldwide.
Aaron is the creative director at Stewart Design where he oversees the creative and strategic direction of the company, focusing on business-led design solutions. Aaron is passionate about connecting companies to customers through clear and thoughtful design. He has developed identities for varied clientele, working on tasks ranging from logo design and brand guidelines, to copywriting and advertising campaigns, concept proposal, and print and digital communications.
Since joining the firm in 2015, he has helped to advance Stewart Design to recognition as one of the top independent design companies specializing in logo design.
Among the dozens of identity programs he has designed are the logos for Rectenwald Brothers, Stobitan, Get Fit Juices & Shakes, NetNutri, and Crab Shack Caribba. During the course of his career, he has been a frequent recipient of industry honors and awards including HOW Design, Graphic Design USA, LogoLounge, Hiiibrand, Logo Wave, and the Worldwide Logo Design Awards.
Aaron is co-author of Your Brand Matters (2017), Stewart Design’s book on the value of professional logo design.
Aaron enjoys guitar, film, puns, and kayaking with his wife, Kayla.
